Irvine, CA (Jan. 17, 2017) – SetSchedule is proud to support the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology by hosting and sponsoring a Brunch and Learn event with speaker Boaz Golany, the Technion Vice President for External Relations and Resource Development and a professor in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management.
The event, which was held at the Mission Viejo Country Club on Jan. 15, drew diverse community members and business leaders for networking and a question and answer session about security technology in Israel, including the Iron Dome, Military and Health Technologies, and Cybersecurity.
“As a rapidly-growing tech startup, we at SetSchedule understand the importance of cybersecurity,” said Roy Dekel, CEO of SetSchedule. “The real estate industry in particular utilizes new technology every day, including drones and other information-gathering innovation. We believe in the importance of educating business leaders about cybersecurity concerns and best practices in order to help them protect their data.”
The Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is a major source of the innovation and brainpower that drives the Israeli economy, and a key to Israel’s renown as the world’s “Start-Up Nation.” SetSchedule has been a proud supporter of the Technion, hosting fundraisers and sponsoring events to support its American organization, the the American Technion Society (ATS). Other philanthropic initiatives supported by SetSchedule include the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Larger than Life. In addition to charitable giving, SetSchedule has hosted a variety of events for various charities in the Southern California area.
Since the company’s launch, SetSchedule has brought real estate and technological expertise together to produce an unparalleled product and a revolutionary approach to appointment management. SetSchedule focuses on placing top tier agents with verified appointments directly in front of vetted homeowners and investors actively looking to buy and sell. As a result, the membership-based service successfully helps agents reduce the time and money traditionally spent on tracking down potential leads for real estate and creating marketing materials to acquire appointments.
