Roy Dekel is CEO and Co-Founder of SetSchedule and Co-Owner of Rentastic and Taskable.
As the co-founder and CEO, Roy leads product vision, strategic direction of all three companies, and business development growth.
Since SetSchedule‘s inception in 2015, SetSchedule’s mission has been to create business development tools to make business easier for entrepreneurs and SMBs. The first SetSchedule application launch in 2021 introduced innovative technologies such as the SetSchedule Networking platform, including the Ask and Broadcast features, the Referral Radar, a leads referral marketplace for real estate agents, an open house management tool, and other prominent business development tools for real estate professionals. With Roy’s leadership, SetSchedule has received placement on numerous Inc. Fastest Growing companies starting from 2019 ranking 196th fastest growing companies, 21st 500 Fastest Regionals California of 2020, 80th in 2021, and top 5000 in 2022 and 2023, including placing 136th in the Pacific Region. Receiving 184th placement in America’s Best Startup Employers in 2021 by Forbes and Top Workplaces in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 by OC Register, Roy has defined SetSchedule’s success as a leading technology company in the real estate industry. As a content contributor for both Inc. Masters and Entrepreneur magazines, Roy has established strong brand recognition by personally received awards for Best CEO by Comparably placing in 2nd in 2022 for Diversity. Orange County Business Journal awarded Roy awards in Excellence in Entrepreneurship and Innovator of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
Originally from Israel, Roy served five years in the military before relocating to Los Angeles, California. In 2002, he assumed the role of Director of Business Development at a construction and building company. During his three-year tenure, Roy implemented effective sales policies and reporting systems, achieving significant sales growth to the tune of $10 million per month and $120 million annually. Following this success, Roy transitioned to DCH Home Development Company, where he served as President for six years. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in developing the corporate sales process, overseeing construction teams, and identifying strategic investments.
In 2006, Roy assumed the role of CEO at The CA Merchant & Investment Group, where he continued to excel in building and promoting the company’s investment policies, sales guidelines, and commercial account relationships. Simultaneously, he took on the role of CEO & Partner at LAG Entertainment Group from 2006 to 2009. In this capacity, Roy reviewed investment deals in the entertainment sector and served as an associate producer for the 2008 film “Killer Pad,” contributing significantly to the company’s success.
Roy is also the co-owner of Rentastic, an accounting software made for real estate investors and Taskable, an AI powered task management platform. Roy started the SetSchedule Cares founded in 2020, which has partnered with Roy’s personal foundation, Roy Dekel Foundation, to give back to communities of all SetSchedule employees across the globe.
